Repex has been established in Closter, Bergen County, Northern New Jersey since 1981. The origin of the family investment and banking business dates back to August 22, 1923, in Europe, when a young Boris Sokolower, then 25 years old, became a member of the Free City of Danzig Bourse and formed the bank bearing his name and has since evolved to this day into Repex Investment Management Co., Inc., the Investment Management Firm.
The firm is highly integrated. Repex Investment Management Co., Inc. is a Registered Investment Advisor involved in investment management of client assets. Client orders are executed through Fidelity Brokerage Services, LLC, which is the custodian for customer cash and securities, and provides confirmations of trades and monthly statements.
David Sokolower: Graduated from New York University, Stern School of Business with a B. S. in Finance, 1989. He joined Repex Investment Management in 1989. David is the President of the firm since 2002.
Erich Sokolower: Graduated from Georgia Tech with a B. S. in Chemical Engineering, 1948, and an M. S. in Engineering from Columbia University, NYC, 1971. He is the former President of Repex Investment Management and currently a Managing Director.
Doug Sokolower: Doug has over 20 years of investment experience with a focus on equities, as a portfolio manager and analyst. Areas of specialty are Healthcare, Aerospace, Consumer, and Technology stocks. Doug graduated from NYU Stern School of Business in 1992 with a B.S. in Finance and International Business. In his spare time, Doug loves college football, trying new restaurants, and most of all, spending time with his 7-year-old daughter. Doug is a Managing Director of the firm.
